When it comes to boutique fitness apparel, this is my New York pit stop. it might help that it’s right by my gym, but if you are not so lucky to live in New York, then you can totally look through all the awesome offerings online. It has everything from Michi to Stella McCartney for Adidas. Expect only the chicest selection.
Athleta is part of a larger company, but it offers great collaborations – like their recent Derek Lam x Athleta line. You can expect awesome designs that are also functional. It’s a great brand to watch.
This Aussi website is an exceptionally well-curated fitness fashion retailer that can’t be missed. You can expect Nike and Adidas along with trendier labels like Heroine Sport and The Upside. I promise you will want to put just about everything in your cart.
Fabletics is the athletic clothing line by Kate Hudson. It’s cute and it’s also affordable. If you haven’t looked into it yet and are weary of celebrity brands like we were at first, then it’s certainly worth a gander.
Ok, ok. Regardless of what you think about Gwyneth Paltrow, she has excellent taste and her sportswear selection is not exception. The majority of it is fairly basic and minimalist – do not expect bold neon colors and prints – but if you like to keep it simple in the gym and let your work speak for itself, then this is certainly a nice curated selection to bookmark.

All about living luxe? Net-A-Porter is your best bet for finding the best of the best. While prices tend to be higher, you can expect excellent quality, a wide variety of brands and speedy shipping. Lolë offers a wide selection on running and yoga gear, but they even have apparel for outdoor winter sports like their White By Lolë Ski line. You have literally never seen snow gear as beautiful and flattering as this before. If only they had this when I was 13 and forced to ski as an extracurricular!
It doesn’t get more basic than this – and I mean this in the best way possible. Alternative Apparel offers the most no-fuss, solid pieces that are incredibly flattering. it’s easy to look at workout gear on super-fit or super-thin models and think something looks good when in reality it might not be cut in such an amazing way for every body type. As someone who is muscular but naturally curvier, I find that their sports bras are unparalleled and feel like they’re barely there. Naturally I have the same version in about every single color.
11. Carbon 38
Trendy but awesome, Carbon 38 is the ultimate in edgy workout gear. Think: all black, mesh, laser cut outs. Nothing about what they offer is boring, but they do this in a totally interesting way. You will have a look all your own when you shop at Carbon 38. Popular brands on the website range from Alo Yoga to Michi.
