Should I go to Bootcamp or crossfit?
There are two huge group workout classes that have been trending for a while: boot camp classes and CrossFit classes. If you’re trying to tone up and shed some pounds, but aren’t sure which work out will be right for you, you’re going to want to watch the video above. Fitness guru Tony Cuviello is showing us the pros and cons of each workout.
Let’s get started with boot camp classes. A major pro when taking this class is that you’re going to get a full body workout. Plus, if you’re in a time crunch for losing weight, boot camp is one of the fastest ways to do so.
That being said, boot camp is super intense, and therefore you could burn out easily. You can also get seriously injured if your instructor doesn’t know what he/she is doing. Oh, and, you usually have to get up super early.
Like boot camp, CrossFit also engages the entire body. More on the plus side, it’s a great social activity, and you’ll learn moves you never thought you could do before. On the other hand, if you’re not really into socializing when working out, CrossFit can be annoying. And if you’re more of a casual exerciser, you won’t love CrossFit. Plus, those advanced moves could be too much for a regular person.
So, which is the best for getting you in shape? Both! If one of these styles of exercising gets you pumped and excited, then go for it. Just remember to be careful!
